What do you mean by shared project? More than one person working on the same project? If so, look at Microsoft Visual SourceSafe.

Oh, BTW, I would strongly recommend a complete rewrite of the application over a simple conversion of the application from FP 2 to VFP 6. You will find that, beside using the latest tools offered by VFP, the complete rewrite will probably take less time that the conversion.
