Just a gut feeling - not even begun to search for numbers! - is money/free liquidity is NOT flowing into unjustified salaries but into
some corporate systems belonging sometimes to investors, sometimes banks. YMMV, but even a couple of million for the very top head honchos would IMO not suck that much up and create such distortions.
