The business is providing my health insurance just like any other employer would do if I worked for someone else. I would not be getting taxed (yet) for insurance provided by an employer that I worked for that wasn't me, so why should I pay tax on the money my company spends on health insurance?
I meant, as an 'S' corporation, if business income is cycled through your personal account, aren't business expenses also? Therefore, health insurance is a business expense and would be deductible, wouldn't it? Or is it a case of business profit (income - expenses) only.
I never meant to imply that the money spent on health insurance should be taxed and I'm pretty sure I didn't say that.
