Thank you, I have tried with and with out the "=" command. I haven't recompiled the class library though.

I did copy a back up class library over my existing library and the Dodefault issue seems to have been resolved.

However, I now get an error 9 in my Gotfocus method of a combo box at line "0". That line "0" business always confuses me. Intrestingly enough since, I was having the other Dodefault issue and the combo box in question was the most recent control added to the form, I tried using the native standard combo box instead of my inherited combo box to try to rule out issues.

There is no code in the Gotfocus method of the standard combo box. How could there be an error message?

I must add my system evidently was unstable and after I closed VFP, I got a blue screen of death.

Woe is me.
