We launch our applications both ways:

- An all-encompassing exe calls other exes upon menu selection. All exes in the network. The user has all their available applications in one screen.
- A launcher runs a particular exe from the local machine (checking for updates and downloading it to the local machine if necessary). The user has the applications they selected in the desktop as icons, which will launch Launcher.exe with the name of the application.

We see ZERO performance difference, if there is any is so small that it is not worth it joking about.
