The function parses some parameters, instantiates an object, and then sets various properties of the that object based on the parameters. In one location, I am getting halfway through the code that sets the properties of the message form, and then errors out with an "oTouchMessage is not an object" error. I enabled detailed logging including a memory dump and it shows that the value of my object has reverted to null. This is very odd because it happens after I have set 3 or 4 different properties of the object in code. It doesn't happen every time, but it always happens at the same line of code if it is going to happen.

Are there any timers involved? Is it possible that the variable isn't declared local and could be stepped on by code running in a timer event?
