>Not a strong D, but a likely one. 48 percent of the state’s voters are registered Democrats and only 32 percent are registered Republicans. I think it is always a swing state though. In 2008 69% of the hispanic vote went for Obama and they were 41% of the votes. Immigration is one of the top issues, along with the economy and the environment.
