>What happens when you do that? do you see all yer installed programs?
No, you don't.
You can click a button at the bottom of the applications full screen wast of space to see all applications (at least what Win8 thinks are all the installed applications. It doesn't really show all.
You of course don't see a neatly organized menu with submenus. At best you see a pile of application icons grouped by what windows 8 thinks is groups. On my machine, you have to scroll my 1920 wide screen monitor several times to see all the icons Windows comes up with. Of course, things like Firefox don't show (nice eh). you have to use the search button to find it. During this time your entire monitor is the Metro menu (one of the monitors in a multi-monitoe machine).
Nice jump backwards.
And it's true, I'm not a shill for whatever Microsoft says.

>>>I think the complaint is that you can't just click on Start / All programs and see all your installed apps.
