Iam writing a tool to migrate data from DOS fox tables to VFP 5.x based tables. When I open dos table Iam using "set codepage off" to prevent the code page dialog. Now if I write something into the VFP 5.x based tables, does it correctly update code page information? Or does it think that the code page option is off, so it doesn't update the code page info. If that is the case, my worry is, if a different application opens the database, it would pop up the code page dialog. Iam completely new to code page area.

Any help is appreciated.
