This wiki holds information related to the Visual FreePro (VFrP) liberty software project, written by Rick C. Hodgin (see also Contributors). Released under a Repeat License (called Public Benefit License, or PBL) issued by the Liberty Software Foundation (LIBSF), users receive rights to use and distribute the software.
VFrP (pronounced vee-ferp) intends to be a highly compatible liberty software replacement for a now defunct popular database management toolset of a similar name. It will offer compatibility with a DOS-based multi-user 2.1 version, along with a gui-based 2.6 version, as well as visual versions 3, 6 and 9.
