My ASUS 700 arrived yesterday. $488 with 32gb and a quadcore processor. 1900x1200 display. SDHC slot. ( added a 32gb SDHC 10 fro $23 )
Keyboard/docking station adds battery, usb etc for $130.
Runs IcreCreamSandwich now - upgrade soon to Jelly Bean.
Very impessed with fit and finish and speed.
I have a couple of Lenovo laptops and like them very much - very good value for the specs.
But I think you'df find the ASUS worth a look, unless it is the Windows 8 that is the big selling point for you.
