Similar to Lutz' advice: nowadays I find it easier to just throw a Linux run from DVD/USB in no-install-mode
at barfing hardware: Is faster and for me easier to grok what is happening. But I am short tempered with
misfiring HW, so any attempts of Windoze helpfullness and clickbility moving with versions into other places
tend to make me fume eariler than usual - might be more my fault than windoze ;-)
