I have a HP Pavilion laptop. It is running XP Pro and I had it for about 4 to 5 years. I am looking for a way to plug an audio device in it so I can speak and hear directly from a headset. This is a conventional support that PC are having. But, on a laptop, this is not the same type of device. Next to the location where I plug my network cable, there is a place to plug something which looks like that. The design (little drawing on top) is showing some kind of reception. Is this what this is for? If yes, what kind of adaptor would I need to allow a regular headset to hook into that?
