>I have an application that was written in FoxPro2.6 and converted to VFP5.0. The application used GENGRAPH.APP to create a graph and UDATEGRPH to modify the graph in the FoxPro2.6 version. I had to modify this code in the VFP version to use the "APPEND GENERAL field DATA variable" statement since GENGRAPH is no longer valid. This creates, displays and reports the graph great...but I have a problem. The previous FoxPro 2.6 application allowed the user to modify the graph and this no longer works. I can open the database containing the graph (embedded in a general fields) and double-click on the general field, but I can no longer double-click on the graph to open MSGraph and display the graph properties. Is it is possible to modify graphs using the above "APPEND..." statement? If so, how would I do this?

You can create a form, add ole bound control, and set its controlsource property to your general field. Once you run the form, you can double-click on the ole bound control showing your graph to open MS-Graph. You may get an idea by looking into another thread called "MSGraph" form today.
