I am trying to use a default value for my dates in the DBC. It seems that no matter how I store the date constant, it is stored using the old {MM/DD/CCYY} format. If I set strictdate to 1, I get the error "Error reading a property from the database. The property is ignored." And my date defaults are ignored.

Has anyone else noticed this? What am I doing wrong?
