>I am trying to find a way to conditionally format a detail line in a report depending upon a logical flag in the underlying cursor. So, for example, if the flag is .T. I want the detail to print out in bold italic, otherwise in normal font. I can do this by creating 2 instances of each control in the detail line - each with the appropriate attributes - overlying them and setting one to print if the flag is set .T. and the other one if flag is .F. But I wonder if there is a more elegant way to do this?

Check Dynamics tab of the control, but you must be sure that you will run report with SET REPORTBEHAVIOR 90.
