Like Tore I never save the Printer environment.
Looking as you did I could not find away to set Colour=2 in the ObjType=1 record. Howerver, looking through my print files I see that they are all at Colour=2 even though most use just black. I therefore suggest setting them all to Colour=2 and leaving it at that.
