That's the problem - in certain cases the Client method in controller is not firing at all, in others it's firing but in such cases the search controls always pass nulls, etc.

I think I'll try one more variation - I put the search controls in the Client view, make it again regular view, invoke it first from the main menu and also forget for now to make it AJAX - try to make it work as is.

If this will not work either, then that's it - I either need to find another grid control (in this one I fixed one minor bug, but a bigger problem of multiple rows visually selected remains and I am not sure I can chase this problem down also) or let it be without extra search controls at the top.
