FlexGrid is a great control for a free one, we used it for a while before we switched to Telerik. You need to read, think, and try the sample as is, without any of your other assumptions and go step by step -- just like the rest of us do without expecting the users here to solve all of our problems....

You just google. Buy a book from time to time. Spend time reading and understanding it
