There's a good case to be made for building a lucrative career around dying languages like COBOL, VB or RPG.
Everytime one of those programmers moves on, the demand increases.
On the other hand, it makes for odd conversations:
"I program languages that no one else will touch."
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
