If I SHOW WINDOW as above from the Command window, I see your window. I can drag it around, there is only one window.

Are you sure you have a secondary window? Can you click on it, drag it around, and close it separately from the other one? If you minimize VFP, then restore it, do you still have the second window?

If not, maybe it's a video artifact, in which case you could check that your video drivers are exactly correct for your adapter, and up-to-date.
