here is the browse command i am using:

activa window temp1 
brow field ctag,cdone :H = 'C',jobs,ttask free jobs FONT 'Geneva', 11  STYLE 'B' noedit noappend nodelete

i am aware actually that the browse command creates it's own window but it sometimes comes up short on what i need. no duplicate window though ever.

i have managed to NOT use form by doing eveything using modualr programs - perhaps it's time i give in and take a proper look into this.

>It mostly depends on how you issue your browse. If you say "browse window", then you get a duplicate of the window - but then you don't need to show the original window. Browse will create its own copy of an invisible window.
