>I just noticed it and was curious if anyone else had. When I change the 'Always on Top' property to false, the ToolTips display properly (overlaid on top of the form). This occurred on a form that was built under VFP 5 and to the best of my knowledge this just started when I moved the project into VFP 6. It's not a big deal, as I have left the 'Always on Top' to false, but it has me curious as to what has caused it and whether or not anyone else had any thoughts about it.

Haven't noticed that, but something has definitely changed between 5 and 6. Try WAIT WINDOW stuff and you'll see that it misbehaves in similar circumstances. A wait window seems to force the an inactive window back on top of the current top window - running with _screen.visible = .F.
I think there's a subtle bug there.
