I remember the marked block concept but don't recall using it much. But the examples you mention are not benefits of the VFP command window per se - it is, after all, and like the .NET immediate window, only executing valid commands in the relevant language.

I'm not sure I know what you are referring to re: dynamic binding but, again, I'd guess this falls into the same category. In essence: you can execute VFP commands in the VFP command window ; you can execute .NET commands in the immediate window.
