I have a record containing the Prime character. This is known as Unicode character 8242. However, despite the fact that in my code, I can see this character, from a cut & paste of the field, when I use Asc(Mid(lcValue,8,1), where the 8th character of my value is that character, this is recognized as 146. So, from my code, how can I establish a co-relation so I can store in a variable the value and use that value for the search?
