Yes, that is correct. ASC() will return 39 and ASCW() will return 8242 when the character is a Prime character. I also changed the field type in the designer to be NVarChar(50). Then, I could see that my data class was returning a NVarChar data type for the SQLType at the parameter level. Despite that, I still cannot find the record.
