Does anyone have a function that returns the UNC name ( e.g. \\ServerName\ShareName ) from a mapped drive letter e.g. F: or Z:?
I've tried both the API and WSH versions of Sergey's functions at
http://www.berezniker.com/content/pages/visual-foxpro/returning-unc-path-associated-local-device . Neither of them appear to work on Win7, they both return the empty string for network and local drives.
I'm running as an admin on my Win7 dev box, with VFP9 SP2 started as an administrator.
UPDATE: never mind, both versions work. I think the issue is running VFP9 SP2 as an administrator; that is in effect a new local session with different drive mappings so the network mapped drive is not present in that new session.
