I understand that. What I don't understand is why they say exactly the same thing in the CREATE/MODIFY REPORT help, and it works when issued in a program, and CREATE/MODIFY FORM don't..

I may assume that, or it is an error in the help file or a lack of implementation.

As Victor Anderson said: "...and forms are tables. (i.e., you can say USE myfrom.scx )...), and reports are tables too and I can say USE myreport.frx.

In the MODIFY REPORT VFP help file it says:

[NOWAIT]
Continues program execution after the Report Designer opens. The program does not wait for the Report Designer to close but continues program execution on the immediate following line.

In the CREATE REPORT VFP help file it says:

[NOWAIT]
