Hi All,
I have been trying create a simple report in MS Report Builder 3.0. I have done many in the recent past, but one is giving me problem.
I create a Stored Procedure with a Single query. I then created a report with a single Table and report table. If I execute the SP through the RB3's Query option, it returns the data correctly. But when I execute it via the "Run Report" button, no data is return. I am thinking that there maybe a setting or filter (I did not add any) in the 'RDL' file that is preventing the return of the data.
Does anyone have any suggestion?
Update:
Never mind, found the solution. I needed my SP to return the data result as from a SELECT statement, not the EXEC() itself. I appears, that Report Builder can not see the column names if it is from a EXEC.
