You know, I didn't even try the Debugger window (as I seldom use it). But, I will be on the look out for odd behavior if/when I need it.

>Agreed about it not really being a big deal. With luck you will only have to move the debugger window once.

>I am also curious about the why. As I said to Tamar, I was unable to duplicate the "lurching window" behavior regardless of the Dockable setting. That makes me think it may be some environmental setting.

>>Well, yes and no. Once I put the Properties window on Monitor 2, I hard;u ever move it so I will not be having to look at that odd behavior.

>>I do have another solution I could do, and that is I have XP installed in a VM on the same computer, and it doesn't show that odd behavior. But I wanted to use Win 7 for this upgrade project.

>>>So now presumably the odd dragging behavior is back. (Forced to make the choice, I would also put the debugger on the second monitor). Sadly, this is the kind of stuff that is going to continue happening in VFP as new OSes come out.
