>Just a guess, but have you checked what the "current directory" (e.g. SYS(5)+SYS(2003) ) is at the time of the failure? I'd seen similar sort of behavior when under various circumstances the "current directory" changes unexpectedly (sometimes happens after calling E-mail, or printing using certain drivers like one to print to PDF file, calling an external program, etc.). I'm guessing since it's XFRXLIB.FLL it has something to do with reporting code -- likely happening because you've got a SaveAs dialog prior to calling report code -- what you might try is to save current directory prior to bringing up SaveAs() dialog, then restoring it afterwards.

Thanks,
I'll see if that applies here.
