Salud, soldier. For some reason we have gotten into it more than once on this subject. I really think you have misunderstood me in some discussions. Any disapproval of the military I have ever expressed has been at the brass and the REMFs at the Pentagon. Chicken hawks like Cheney and Rumsfeld who have led us, leaning forward, into foolish wars. I don't like or respect those guys. I like and respect the common soldiers who agree to place themselves in harm's way for our country. Last night I watched the Bears game on TV. The game sucked but it was redeemed by being played at Soldier Field on Veteran's Day, with many vets being introduced and cheered.

So, officially, hats off to all vets and currently deployed soldiers. I didn't know it was in doubt.
