The MS Windows 8 tablet ad where everyone is being cool and dancing around clapping the thing open and closed or whatever it is is one of the most embarrassing tech commercials I've ever seen. It is like they got some guy who does dog food commercials or something to come up with " You know, something hip that the kids will like. We need to show happy, mindless kids dancing around doing something ostentatious that will make them the envy of their friends and maybe cure their acne and get them laid."

They cannot beat Apple at their own game.

Though they might consider renaming The Surface ... The Superficial.

And if they are looking for something to replace "Metro" how about "Gangsta" ?

Personally, i think Win8 looks like one of those phones you get for a senile grandmother with big buttons with pictures of the kids on them. I certainly would love to be a meeting in some 1000 - 10,000 desktop organization when a bright young man comes in to make the case for upgrading. to Win8.
