I am about to start a new project and want to rethink my user interface design and framework, Menu style? Ribbon bar? Outlook style?

Anyone seen any UI design for database applications recently that made you go WOW? let me know where.

Most cutting edge design I see turns out not to suit database applications, so really looking for something that is data driven. Does not need to be VFP, looking for design ideas not code.
