I always do a custom install so I can uncheck this kind of crap. Also, I don't use Adobe reader. FoxIt is faster and user less system resources.
Also, this really isn't a case of Adobe adopting Chrome. It's more likely a case of Google paying Adobe to include Chrome.
>Yes, that is usually the case. I was surprise to see that one vendor decided to plug an installation of a browser, also checked by default. I got used to install that software that only have I clicked the confirmation button that I saw it was selected.
