I have always worked for small software houses and never sold my own stuff.

Recently my wife asked me to write something to control her teaching classes (she teaches languages as an Extra-curricular) and has to control class registers, payments, reports etc.

I am now thinking about selling this to other teachers (it's a franchise with 1,000 UK centres). I have looked at various hosting options but the eCommerce ones look far too much, I'll only be selling one product and the basic hosting ones do seem to offer a download option.

Anyone some good advice on setting up a small buy & download website?
