I know a number of women who are divorced. In every case I knew the women when they were married. The guys they were married to were not the kind of fellow who should ever have married. In each case the woman would tell others, “I know he has problems (understatement!) but I am going to change him”!

My philosophy is, “What you see is what you get”! Having a sense of humor is but one ingredient to a successful marriage. Responsibility, tolerance, patience, and humility help a great deal. Assisting each other in every way possible is a joy within a good marriage. Next month my wife and I will celebrate our 47th Wedding Anniversary. I would not trade a moment of it for anything. It helps to choose the right person! :)
