Hi !

Couldn't install version 5.5.28.3, instead downloaded version 5.5.8 (an older one) from http://downloads.mysql.com/archives.php?p=mysql-5.5&v=5.5.8, followed instructions, given in http://www.sistemabasico.com.br/2011/06/30/instalando-o-mysql-5-5-8-no-windows-7/, and it worked fine.

Also installed MySQL ODBC connector and MySQL Workbench 5.2 CE. Now have to learn how things work.

Just worndering why couldn't I install version 5.5.28.3 (the latest)...
