I primarily use it for Spanish->English and English->Spanish. It's at least 70% accurate with Spanish->English, though I can almost always pick up from context what it meant. And I'm told from native Spanish speakers that it is nearly perfect going English to Spanish, provided the English sentences have good structure and uses unambiguous words.

It's definitely not for everybody and I'm sure many languages are not so good. But $20/MB is far cheaper than paying a translator. Especially if you can try the translation and, if it's not clear, re-word it and try again.

It would be nice to have a generic, literal word-for-word translation system that was free. That way at the very least you could realize someone in another language is saying: [hungry][me][lunchtime][eat][us]

Chance are you could figure it out from there, even if the proper form of the sentence was "I'm hungry. It's about lunchtime. Why don't we get something to eat?"
