I did check the computer memory and no problems found there. By the way the issue/problem appears with VS2012 it looks like something to do with either VS running out of memory (and I wish the VS would have a way to inform the user rather than just crashing). Or it could be something to do with a driver. The strange thing is that it does not happen right away. I would have to stay in VS for some time (at least 1/2 hour) before it crashes.
