>>>For thirty years there have been immortal words from Microsoft whenever you experience a problem with your computer: “Reboot”! One term I have not heard for a while is, “Blue Screen of Death”!

they renamed it :-)

I just installed Windows 8 on a new partition.
a couple of weeks later i found the machine with a blue screen one morning. it complained about a disk error. the repair routine fails every time.

I'll have to reformat and reinstall windows 8 and office 2013 all over....

>>I can honestly say that since Windows Vista, I have only gotten BSODs when there have been real hardware errors. I don't think I've ever seen one in Win7, 32-bit or 64-bit.

>>I wonder if it lends credence to the idea that given enough time on a system receiving continuous development from a multi-$100 billion coroporation, eventually all of the common bugs really will be fixed. :-)

>I enjoyed your comment. Given an infinite amount of time and customers money, Microsoft will create the perfect operating system. By then the Second Coming will have occurred and no one on Earth will be able to enjoy such perfection. :)
