I am trying to run an executable from a workstation

The program

use logfile in 0 shared (file is on a server drive)
select logfile

brings up cursor cannot be updated - this is the first file I try to open all the remaining files open OK

Any ideas - run time files are in the folder in the server the program is pointing at
