One of our programmers is in the process of taking a Visual FoxPro 3.0 application and bringing it up to Visual FoxPro 5.0. Before they receive approval to do so, however, his (and my) boss wants something from Microsoft which states that VFP 3.0 data will transfer smoothly to VFP 5.0.

You, me, and most of the FoxPro world already know that this is the case, but this guy insists on getting something from Microsoft. Is there a web site (probably off of www.microsoft.com/vfoxpro) that states this? A knowledge base article, on-line help screen, or printed document would also be acceptable.

Unfortunately, I don't have VFP 5.0 on my machine, since someone decided I didn't need VFP 5.0 to do my job. VFP 6.0 is a pipe dream for me. Thanks heaven I'm leaving this job soon.
