This gives us A LOT of flexibility in creating and visualizing the report in the "designer" (Form Designer, that is).

Just because it looks like so much fun. After all, it should be pretty easy to do since you have essentially done all the work for me. Thanks.

Hi Matt

If you have done it using old tricks then that is it. No point rewriting just for sake of it. What would be interesting maybe to add some drill-down capability to it.

Flexibility in building report that you realized is exactly what I was after with RS.
Major drive was/is to overcome conceptual deficiencies of FRX report designer (and its preview/print facility).
You managed to do your report using as you say using 'old dog tricks', however there are report requirement where 'old dog tricks' simply will not be enough to deliver result. This is exactly what these new reporting concepts provide for and these are situations where you would normally use RS. If FRX cuts through, fair enough that is the way to go. If it does not, then you go down & dirty with RS and do what it takes to deliver report :)
