Now I have some problems in using Foxpro. Can you help me?
It is several years since my using FoxBASE,Foxpro 2.5. Now,Visual Foxpro 3.0 is coming to me, so I want to do some programming with Visual Foxpro 3.0. But...
When I use Foxpro 2.5, I can compile my project file and PRG file to EXE file and the EXE file can run in Windows 3.1 without Foxpro 2.5 system.But my using Visual Foxpro 3.0 didn't successed.
I know Visual Foxpro 3.0 is better running in window 95! My eviroment is windows 3.1. My project file is running well in Visual Foxpro 3.0 and also when it is compiled. But when I put my compiled file ( .EXE file ) and Foxpro system file VFP3000.ESL in other computer Which eviroment is also Windows 3.1, it can not running.The action is sudden black screen and return to window 3.1, it looks like DOS program running in windows.
So, my questions are:
1. Visual Foxpro 3.0 's program is 16-bit or 32-bit?
if it is 32-bit,can it run in 16-bit OS?
2. Can Visual Foxpro 3.0 's compiled program run in Window 3.1 eviroment without VFP 3.0 ? if it can,Which things have to be done?
