Oh, I'm sorry to say "yes." :-) That is exactly my situation. The DBC and DBFs are in the same directory. I got into trouble because I had a table I was *sure* had a long name, but in fact, of course, it didn't. < sigh >

From your message I think you may have read mine as wanting the path with the file (?)-but I don't. I have the DBC and the path to that, so I won't need the path to the table. Unless, it's a free table, in which case-no problem;)
