>>December 21, 2012 is the end of the world according to the Mayan’s. But not to fear! Should it occur we will not have to worry about it.

>>I hope to see you on December 22nd! :) My wife is from Peru, so we use the Inca Calendar! According to the Inca's, all is well. :)

>>If anyone is worried about the December 21st, do not purchase Christmas presents until that date passes. That way you will not waste your money! :)

>Hey Tom, good to see your sense of humor still at work! Hope you are doing well!

Retirement is good for you! Having enjoyed my working career in the military and as a civilian (electronics engineer and programmer), I must say that I do not miss the rat race or the rats! :)

I have a very strict schedule, which includes playing my many musical instruments, exercise, reading and my model trains. When I wish to be annoyed I watch the news on television. My wife and I do many things together, but I still have not learned to like or appreciate shopping in any form! I still enjoy cooking and I even clean up after myself. I am great at making a mess in the kitchen! :)

Katy and I would love to get down your way and visit family and friends. A very close childhood friend is a Catholic Priest and teaches English at the University of Dallas. We grew up together in San Francisco. We got together for lunch in July of 2010, after a 50 year separation. I was so worried about how to address my friend, as I had always called him Bobby. As he walked down the stairs of the Irish Cultural Center in San Francisco, he saw me and yelled, “Tommy”. I answered back, “Bobby”, so now I know how to address him! What a blast talking about growing up and catching up on the years we were apart.

Katy and I were married at Goodfellow Air Force Base, San Angelo, Texas, in 1965. Those were interesting days in San Angelo, as President Johnson was condemning the land of his adjacent neighbors, to build his library. The grandparents of Johnson’s neighbors and Johnson’s grandfather were the founders of Johnson City. LBJ went to school with the men whose land he was condemning and they were the grandchildren of the cofounders of Johnson City. LBJ was not liked much in San Angelo! Texas politics can be interesting! :)
