I am modifying an app in VFP 3.0. It is part of a much larger app so I have been asked not to upgrade it to 5 or 6. I have declared several variables to be passed from the form to a prg. Everything seems to be working great until I shut down VFP instead of the form while in design mode by using the control box. When I go back in to run the app, my variables are either passed as character when they are supposed to be numeric, or they are gone altogether. Using wait windows, I can find them in the lost focus of the text boxes to which they are bound, but by the got focus of the next one, they have disappeared even though they are declared public and initialized numeric. The only fix seems to be re-creating the form. Has anyone else had an experience like this?
