We have been using the Mabry activex ASocket control to communicate with a mainframe. In a nutshell it's using port 23 and ends up doing a screen-scrape.

Our HUGE problem here is that the mainframe OS was updated from z/os 1.10 to z/os 1.12 - and this control broke. Sadly IBM wants to charge us $40,000 a MONTH to support the old OS until I can make some serious changes to the VFP application to eliminate this all together. ahhhh!

Anyone have a clue? I'm lost - haven't touched a mainframe in a couple decades and Mabry is out of biz...
