This is an unreasonable answer now a days - especially for those who develop vertical apps for VFP.

Intel based Mac's can do a dual boot at which point they boot up just like Windows, in addition to using VM technology. I usually suggest the dual boot way as it causes less tech support calls.

Yeas ago when FoxPro moved from FoxPro for Mac to VFP for Mac, I basically lost 30% of my customer base by "telling them to get a Windows computer" because VFP for Mac was never usuable in real life. Nowadays it really isn't that much trouble to get a Mac (with dual boot) to run anything Windows, so that really opens up a lot of business. Mac's are here to stay (I personally still think it has more to do with the "cool" factor than anything, but no reason to argue this point with the client as you will usually just lose the business). I am just finally in the last year or so getting some of those clients back since they are using newer Mac's.

Just my hard earned cents worth.....
